When Did NYC’s Mayor Become General Bloomberg!? Or Should We Call Him El Presidente!?

Congratulations to Mayor Bloomberg who seems to be bragging about having his own army these days.  WHAT!?

Well it seems that yesterday during a speech to some MIT students the Mayor was trying to be playful while describing why his job was as good as the President’s.

“I have my own army in the NYPD, which is the seventh largest army in the world,” he said.  “I have my own state department, to Foggy Bottom’s annoyance. We have the UN in New York, so we have entree into the diplomatic world that Washington does not have. I don’t listen to Washington very much, which is something they’re not thrilled about.”

Again.  WHAT!?  Is looks like that little raid on Zuccotti Park might have gone to Mike’s head.

Oh well, I guess it’s good to know that our um…commander…has us ready to go to war on a moment’s notice.
