What’s Up for the Fourth!?

The Filtered Excellence comes out tomorrow night, and will have lots of local festivals for the weekend, but what about all of the mid-week celebrations happening this week? No matter what you like to do, there is a festival for you somewhere in the country.  Here are a few to check out.

The Swan Festival, July 4th, Wareham, Mass
For those people who may not want to take the time to celebrate America on July 4th or just really like swans head to Wareham, Massachusette’s on the 4th for their 16th annual Swan Festival! You can ride on a swan or duck boat to see the beautiful animals or participate in a parade with your pets!  Click here for more.

Sawdust Days, July 3rd- July 7th, OshKosh, Wisconsin
It’s always nice to celebrate your heritage, and the town of OshKosh, Wisconsin holds their annual fair Sawdust Days to remember back when they were know as the Sawdust City. There is food, fireworks, a parade and everything you could want in a classic hometown festival- and helps everyone remember why their families traveled to Oshkosh in the first place!  Click here for more info.

Nabor Days, July 5th-July 8th, Cadott, Wisconsin

Seattle Beer Fest, July 6th-8th, Seattle, Washingston
This may not be the perfect festival to bring the kids too, but you can get a chance to celebrate all of the great local beer joints in and around the Seattle area. Newport Comedy Nights, Starts July 7th, Newport, Wisconsin
Starting July 7th with comedian Joan River’s the town of Newport is bringing a different famous comedian to Rhode Island every Saturday night. Everyone loves to laugh so you should bring the family and head out to see these great comedians every Saturday night.  Click here for more info.

Graffiti Weekend, July 6th- July 8th, Roseberg, Oregon
No I’m sorry people won’t be running around with paintcans tagging everything they can see- it is actually one of America’s biggest auto shows. Whether you have an classic car, a brand new car, or a car that’s barely running everyone can appreciate a great car show.  Click here for more info.

The largest two day festival in the country is happening this weekend in Buffalo, New York! Get ready to eat, eat, and eat some more as local restaurants get together to give everyone a little tast of everything.
