Watch the Trailer You’ve Been Waiting to See: QT’s Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood

Not really classified as comedy movies, Quentin Tarantino movies have some of the funniest moments in them of any movies ever made.  His newest creation, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is getting ready to drop into theaters in July (on the 26th to be specific) and now you can finally get a real look at what’s coming, because the film’s star Leonardo DiCaprio rolled out the trailer on social media this morning.

Set in Los Angeles, (obviously) the film tells the story of television actor Rick Dalton and his stunt double Cliff Booth as they try to get involved in the film industry, and covers the infamous Charlie Manson murder spree.

Starring starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio with the late Luke Perry, Margot Robbie, Damian Lewis, Dakota Fanning, and Bruce Dern, Al Pacino, Tim Roth, Emile Hirsch, Kurt Russell, Rumer Willis, Michael Madsen, Lena Dunham, Brenda Vaccaro and just a gigantic cast.

DiCaprio as Dalton is a neighbor of Sharon Tate (played by Margot Robbie).  Dakota Fanning plays Squeaky Fromme, Damien Lewis is cast as Steve McQueen, and George Spahn- owner of the ranch Manson took over is played by Bruce Dern. Other familiar names to those familiar with history are Emile Hirsch as Jay Sebring, Austin Butler plays Charles “Tex” Watson and Damon Herriman as Manson. Mike Moh plays Bruce Lee, who was working with Sharon Tate.

OUaTiH is the first film QT is making without collaboration with Harvey Weinstein in the post #metoo era, but it doesn’t look like he’s any the lesser for it.

It’s been 25 years since Pulp Fiction burst onto the scene, and Quentin’s Ninth promises to be as provocative as the rest.
