Watch Mel Brooks Try to Pull Down POTUS’ Pants at White House

The New York Post released a video on Thursday of one of America’s funniest filmmakers trying to yank down the President’s pants. Why would the 90 year old filmmaker do that? For a laugh.

Brooks was at the White House accepting the Medal of Arts and Humanities at the time. He waited until the Prez was placing the ribbon around Brooks’ neck to make his move, and made a run at Obama’s pants. POTUS laughed, ducked away from Brooks, and later joked that Mel set the tone for the event honoring many artists including Berry Gordy, Philip Glass, Terry Gross and Jose Andres.

Earlier the U.S. Marine Band played Brooks’ “Springtime for Hitler,” and the President got a few laughs quoting Mel Brooks. “As Mel Brooks once said to his writers on Blazing Saddles, which is a great film, ‘Write anything you want because we’ll never be heard from again. We will all be arrested for this movie.'”

Mel Brooks is 90.
