Three years ago Charla Nash was left severely disfigured after being attacked by a chimpanzee. Six months ago, she received a full face transplant, and today, she was finally ready to show her new face to the public in an exclusive interview with the Today Show’s Meredith Viera.

The donor face has begun to mold to Charla’s underlying bone structure, and in another year doctors say it should look totally natural.
