Hollywood might be running low on franchises, which is why there’s a movie based on a game about some ships. But there’s still an untapped goldmine waiting to be exploited. For example, “Safety Not Guaranteed” is a movie starring Aubrey Plaza that’s based on classified ad that went viral and became a meme. The great thing about Memes are, they’re jokes you don’t have to think about. If this movie is a success, “Double Rainbow” and “Lolcats: teh moive” are no doubt right around the corner. Although spoiler alert for “Lolcats”, it’s just 86 minutes of Rick Astley.
