Video Released Of Shoot Out Between Gunman And Oregon State Police Officer

The Oregon State Police have released dramatic footage of a gunman, Army veteran John Van Allen, opening fire on an Oregon State Police officer during a routine traffic stop. Allen leaves his vehicle, with his kids still in the car, and exchanges gunfire with the officer. The former vet takes one in the chest and still manages to escape and drive off. He was found dead several miles down the road.
