In the most cinematic moment of the day, students at UC Davis sit cross legged in silent protest waiting for Chancellor Linda Katehi to leave a press conference. The protest mimicked the position that peaceful protesters were sitting in yesterday when they were sprayed down with pepper spray by university police.
In a phone interview with CNN, Katehi said she found the actions of the police officers to be “unacceptable.” She also firmly stated that she did not plan to resign, despite calls from both students and professors to do so.
