15-year-old Cori Gauff beat Venus Williams wt Wimbledon, 24 years her senior at 39 – 6-4 6-4. Williams had won four Grand Slam titles including two at Wimbledon before Gauff was born. The term is never meet your heroes, doesn’t say shit about beating them.
