Tiffany Haddish announced “She Ready” in her debut comedy special that aired on Showtime just two years ago. Now she’s taking that catchphrase one step further to bring six comedians who haven’t broken mainstream yet, but they’re ready. Tiffany Haddish Presents They Ready doesn’t have a date yet, but it will be coming to Netflix.
Aida Rodriguez, April Macie, Tracy Ashley, Flame Monroe, Chaunte Wayans, and Marlo Williams have all worked with Haddish on the stand up scene or in television, and they’re all women she is excited to introduce to her audience. “I am introducing six of my favorite comedians – in my eyes, they are super stars. The epitome of They Ready,” she said. All six comics will present half hour specials for Netflix.
Haddish has been well known among hardcore comedy fans for years, and burst out big with mainstream comedy fans in 2017 after stealing the summer comedy movie Girls Trip and debuting her first hour special.
If they’re familiar to you, you may have seen these six comics on the stage in clubs across the country, or on the big or small screens.
