Researchers looked into how parents describe their children around the world. The big difference was between American and European parents.
Americans are more likely to describe their kids as intelligent where as Europeans were more likely to say their kids were happy or easy. Assuming they didn’t mean their kids were sluts, would you rather be happy or smart?
