Action Park is coming back this summer, but if you’re looking to hit up some of famed less-than-safe attractions, you’re out of luck. The new Action Park is fully compliant with safety regulations.
It’s really more of a re-naming than a reopening– the park has been operating as Mountain Creek for years now. But there’s a new double loop water slide, and you will find a lot of the old school un-ride attractions that made the place beloved, even if they are a bit sanitized. The appeal of Action Park was always that the rides are more action-themed instead of being mechanized rides.
Ride the Tarzan Swings, hit up the wave pool, go Cliff Diving, take the High Anxiety funnel drop, zip-lines and even a bike park.
