The More Stress In Your Life, the Smaller Your Brain Is
Yale researchers have found that parts of your grey matter shrink after undergoing significant amounts of stress. They say in the report:
“They found that even the brains of subjects who had only recently experienced a stressful life event showed markedly lower gray matter in portions of the … area of the brain that regulates not only emotions and self-control, but physiological functions such as blood pressure and glucose levels.”
Ya gotta learn to chill the fuck out or you’ll be prone to emotional freak outs and blood sugar problems. Just relax, we’re all going to die and nothing will save you ever.
