The Man Who Tried To Show People “Up” Could Be Real Just Shattered Children’s Dreams Everywhere

Jonathan Trappe set on a mission to cross the Atlantic in a hot air balloon basket attached to 370 helium filled balloons. He was of course, inspired by the Pixar film Up. Sadly, the 39-year-old IT manager from North Carolina had to give up the dream after 12 hours into the 2500 mile trip. He only made it 350 miles from the Maine launch site.
Maybe if he had that talking dog with him he would have went further.
