Well, it couldn’t last forever.
Hulu is now taking steps to require people to input their cable account number to stream TV shows online. So you won’t be able to use Hulu if you don’t already have cable. This new initiative is part of something called TV Everywhere which is aimed at keeping high quality streaming contentexclusive to the people who subscribe to cable. It might take years to finalize everything but this is the beginning of the end for free streaming TV.
