The Government Isn’t Just Watching You On Buses. They’re Listening Too.
Several cities across the U.S. are testing and adding audio surveillance to their city buses along with the already existing video systems. These systems are being installed on buses in San Francisco, Eugene, OR, Hartford, CT and Columbus, OH with the intent of being able to hear people talking to each other. Because there’s nothing more interesting than listening to someone’s conversation on the bus.
