The Definition of ‘Literal’ Is No Longer Literally Literal

Several dictionaries including Google, Merriam Webster and Cambridge have changed the definition of the word ‘literal’ to say “Used to acknowledge that something is not literally true, but is used for emphasis or to express strong feeling.” Thanks young people, you have literally ruined the English language.
