The SNL Church Of Neurotology Music Video is a Broadway Musical in the Making

In the early 1990s, there was a fad church movement that was gaining momentum and followers, the Church of Neurotology. With the hype surrounding the HBO documentary, “Going Clear” about another certain religion, Saturday Night Live unearthed a 25 year old music video promoting “Neurotology”.

The video has the grainy look of 1990 and begins at the familiar sounding “Diametrics Foundation”. Learn the “secret of space” with Neurotology followers Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Bobby Moynihan as the founder of Neurotology and even a rare Colin Jost sighting away from the Weekend Update desk.

The video is filled with all the images that makes people feel good about religion with sunrises, parades and people who never quit smiling. There’s also updates on the people who joined the Church of Neurotology back in the 90s. A lot of the people are missing now.
