The BRC Presents the Million Man Mosh

Our buddies over at the Black Rock Coalition are putting together a benefit concert in January at the Highline Ballroom. All proceeds will go towards a legal defense fund for Donovan Drayton, son of legendary sideman Ronny Drayton (he’s played with EVERYBODY – the list is too long to mention). Donovan’s been in Rikers Island for 4 years on robbery-homicide charges. He was cleared of all of murder charges and the jury was hung on the other charges (it was 10-2 in favor of acquittal but there were no alternate jurors during the trial). So rather than let him go, they are going to re-try him on the other charges. Legal fees are skyhigh, so this concert is for Ronny to help bring his only son home.
