There are 130 openings for Air Force pilots and they’ve had to bump up the base salary to get people to apply. For a nine year deployment you’ll get $225,000 dollars in signing bonuses, benefits and salary as high as 97k a year. If only we had gotten that Top Gun sequel, things wouldn’t be so bad.
