That’s Racist With Mike Epps

This is either the best idea ever or the worst one. Mike Epps is teaming up with AOL for a new series, “That’s Racist With Mike Epps”. Epps explores racial, religious, and sexual cliches, stereotyping and their origins.
Finally someone is going to look into why Asians are widely considered to be bad drivers and legend behind the supposed lack of intelligence of Polish people. Someone has to ask these questions and Mike Epps is here to do it. He also talks to the people that have been the target of these jokes, along with educators that have some historic knowledge on the subject. Racial jokes and stereotypes will also be discussed in a round table with comedians like Randy and Jason Sklar, Helen Hong, Rick Overton, John Viener and Sharon Houston.
Now this is Mike Epps, which makes us think– okay no bullshit, people may get offended. But it is coming from AOL which tends to steer a little more mainstream, so we don’t know what we’re going to be seeing.
The new series premiers on AOL on Monday, January 26th and will be released in two separate five episode parts. The first 5 episodes premiere January 26th on AOL. And the other 5 aren’t out until March 2nd, CPT. Wait, CPT? “That’s Racist”. It’s also covered in Mike Epps’ new web series.
When Mike Epps isn’t debating what’s racist and what’s not, he’s preparing for the role of a lifetime. He’s playing Richard Pryor in the new Lee Daniels biopic. Shooting begins this March.
