Texas Abortion Bill Passes

The abortion bill that was successfully filibustered last month by Wendy Davis in Texas was passed on Friday with a 19-11 vote after Governor Rick Perry got involved and pushed the bill into overdrive. The bill bans abortions after 20 weeks and puts other restrictions on clinics that would limit what they can do. In related news, sales of Dyson vacuums have increased ten-fold in the lone-star state.
