TBS Developing A Comedy With Broken Lizard

Broken Lizard, the comedy troupe known for the cult favorite film “Super Troopers” and the movie “Beerfest”, are developing a new comedy with TBS.
The new show is called “Quality Time”. Variety describes the pilot idea as follows a now-adult version of the group as they struggle through various challenges of adult misery and child rearing and attempt to hang on to the idiotic freedom of their irresponsible pre-parental lives.
Broken Lizard was first formed at Colgate University. After graduation, the group reunited and started performing around New York City. The group’s Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske are listed as writers on the show, as well as producers.
