The parents of a slain teen back in May are filing a lawsuit against the police who shot him. The parents 16 year old son had gotten a bad grade at school and ended up going home and threatening to kill himself with a gun that was in the household. He had been drinking and was upset when his parents called the police. What ended up happening was a police sniper shot and killed the boy from across the street when, according to the parents attorney, the boys back was to the police negotiator. The kid never fired a round from his gun, and the police are justifying it by saying he was a threat to the negotiators. Why wouldn’t a sniper be called in for an emotional 16 year old?
