Steven Weber Is “Joe Time” In New Comedy Pilot

Steven Weber may be returning to television on CBS. He’s been cast in a new sitcom pilot, “Joe Time”. The former “Wings” star will play “Joe” who according to Variety, is “a family man who’s put aside his own desires so his loved ones can follow their own bliss — but he struggles with the fact that everyone around him is pursuing their dreams and enjoying their lives more than he is.”
The comedy pilot will co-star Duane Martin (All Of Us) as Joe’s music producer neighbor and Eric Petersen (Kirstie) as Joe’s gay brother. Steven Weber’s last series was “Chasing Life” on ABC Family. Since “Wings”, he’s also had appearances “Web Therapy”, “Brothers and Sisters”, “Wilfred” and guest starred on this season’s “House of Lies” on Showtime.
