Steve Young will make $1 million next year for playing quarterback. Young signed with the USFL’s L.A. Express in 1984 and signed a $36 million deal that pays out till 2027. Even though the USFL went belly up, Young had the deal insured. Young, who will be making more than Colin Kaepernick this season, is hoping for an extension.
