Steve-O Climbs 100 Foot Crane, Gets Himself Arrested
Hollywood was in a full uproar tonight when firefighters discovered someone had climbed out onto a crane 100 feet above the ground. That someone, it turns out, was Jackass member Steve-O, pulling a planned stunt. He is now in police custody, but not before posting numerous photos and videos to his Facebook page. Throughout the stunt he streamed live video via his Facebook page as he climbed a giant crane, along with some gear that included matches and a lighter. During the broadcast he said he was disappointed that his Facebook Live stream only got him 20,000 viewers.
Yesterday on his instagram, Steve-O warned friends and fans that he had a big dangerous stunt planned for 7pm et in Los Angeles. Apparently first responders don’t keep up with the Steve-O social media scene, and showed up in big numbers to determine if the man on the tip of the giant crane needed rescuing or arresting.
In his final post this evening, Steve-O asked if anyone wants to bail him out of jail.
