Steven Colbert had T.J. Miller on his program on Thursday night and shared the hilarious clip of T.J. Miller accepting his Critics Choice award last year. It was that exact clip– well not the clip, but the original acceptance speech– that got T.J. Miller the job of hosting the Critics Choice Awards this Sunday night. Miller is the awards show host to watch this year, because its completely clear that he wasn’t hired for his professionalism, and he wasn’t hired just because he’s funny.
