Maybe we are too wrapped up in our technology. The security footage of the random train shooting of a 20 year-old student in San Francisco has been released to prosecutors who say that the gunman was able to wave his gun around and point it at different targets while going unnoticed by people engrossed by their phones. Anyone with a flip phone could have ended the conflict by just heaving it at the shooter the moment he walked in.
