Grab some Krusty Burgers and a case of Duff’s. To celebrate “The Simpsons” coming to FXX, the network will launch its record breaking complete Simpsons marathon starting on August 21st.  Every single episode will air in order on FX.

The marathon includes 25 seasons of The Simpsons run in chronological order and equaling 552 episodes all together. To cover that many episodes, the marathon is going to take some time. For 24 hours a day, The Simpsons marathon will run for 12 days straight – from Thursday, August 21st starting at 10 am et until Monday, September 1st concluding at 12 am et. The next day on Tuesday, September 2nd, The Simpsons will air regularly on FXX in fringe dayparts, prime time and late nights during the week and on weekends. Also, on Sundays, FXX will air mini-marathons of The Simpsons, each with a special theme.

Also, as a bonus feature to the 12 day marathon, FXX will include “The Simpsons Movie”. The feature film will air right after episode 400 during the marathon.

FXX is also creating “Simpsons World” which the network is calling “the ultimate Simpsons digital experience”. Simpsons World, which launches in October, will give fans access to episodes on demand through the Simpsons World website and the FXNOW app. It also lets Simpsons lovers explore characters and the town of Springfield and create and share playlists of their favorite episodes.

The Simpsons is currently the longest running scripted series on television.
