Showtime Comedy Cancelled After One Season

The brand new Showtime series “Happyish” is being cancelled after just one season.
The series which starred Steve Coogan had originally been set to be a Philip Seymour Hoffman vehicle and was picked up in 2014 before Seymour passed away.
The series followed Thomas Payne’s pursuit to find happiness (or at least happishness) and attempting to find what happiness even is.
According to Deadline.com, Happyish is the only Showtime original series of the lsat decade not to go to a second season.
