Shaq Gets Sitcom Pilot

He’s been a world champion in the NBA, a movie genie, a rapper, an author, product pitchman and host of his own All-Star Comedy Jam. And now he’s going to star in his own sitcom.
TruTV has ordered a pilot starring and executive produced by Shaq. The working title is Shaq Inq. Deadline describes it as a workplace comedy featuring Shaq and the people that work for him to keep his many investments in business. They’ll all be looking for the next big idea to take to him for his approval. The characters on the show will all be vying for the attention of the boss in order to gain power in the Shaq business empire. It won’t be his first comedy series. Shaq also stars in Upload with Shaquille O’Neal, where Shaq, Rachel Feinstein and Gary Owen reviewed internet videos, also for TruTV. Upload returns for a second season in February.
The best part is if the pilot goes to series, Shaq will break Brad Garrett’s record for tallest sitcom star.
