Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon Levitt Christmas Eve Comedy Being Released Early
The new Seth Rogen / Joseph Gordon Levitt holiday comedy doesn’t have a name yet, but it does have a release date. Their untitled “Christmas Eve” movie is being released earlier than expected on Wednesday, November 25th. The date has been moved up by Sony from December 11th. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the studio wants to open the comedy during Thanksgiving week to give it more holiday play in theaters.
The “Christmas Eve” movie is directed by Jonathan Levine who directed both Rogen and Levitt in “50 50”. The film co-stars Anthony Mackie and Lizzy Caplan. It’s about 3 childhood friends who hold an annual reunion in New York City every year and go out partying. This will be the last year they get together now that they’re getting older. So, they want to make it a Christmas Eve to remember. They’re out to find the “Nutcrackar Ball”, the greatest, most exclusive Christmas party in NYC.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures are also producing the movie.
