Scientists Give Mice Fake Bad Memories
Scientists at MIT say they’ve were able to implant a false memory in a mouse’s brain by using light to manipulate its brain cells. They made the mouse remember that it had been shocked when going in a certain chamber before, when it had never actually happened. The next step is to see if they can implant good memories and make the mouse think he used to live in an apartment made out of cheese.
