Scientists Cause Implosion On Purpose
Scientists in California researching the impact of earthquakes on the nearby Hayward fault demolished a 13-story building belonging to the Cal-State East Bay campus, and registered vibrations (supposedly equivalent to those caused by a 2.0 earthquake) using over 600 seismographs within a mile of the building. The building fell in seconds, punishing the spectators who were texting instead of paying attention.
