What seemed like the perfect casting has unfortunately ended as Sacha Baron Cohen announced he is no longer going to play the Queen frontman in a biopic of his life. Amid disagreements about the film with the remaining members of Queen, who wanted the film to be more PG as opposed to a gritty R-rated vision, Cohen left after several writers and directors had been brought in. In Queen’s version, Mercury recovers from a slight cold just in time to perform ‘We Are The Champions’ on the London Bridge.
