Robert Mawhinney and his band Lights Over Paris achieved mild success in the U.S…..that is after Mawhinney was able to scam $11 million from the banks in order to fund the bands rise to stardom. He’s now serving a seven year prison sentence for making false statements which is ironically the least rocker thing anyone can be jailed for.
