Robin Thicke Suing Before He Gets Sued
Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. claim they were threatened by both Marvin Gaye’s family and the company that owns Funkadelic’s song rights, both claiming that the summer hit wasn’t an original and sounds too similar to songs they each have the copyright for. Thicke, Williams and T.I. now wants to protect their song in court before they get sued, saying – the two groups complaining are trying claim ownership to entire genre of music.
