It’s always a shame when an important historical landmark becomes a victim of neglect. The boyhood home of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker was close to being lost until Star Wars fans banded together and raised $11,000 to repair it. The estate has now been restored to its former glory for anyone who happens to be travelling through the middle of a desert in Tunisia. Maybe next they’ll spruce up Detroit so that it looks it used to in Robocop.
