He said preparations are the furthest behind in his history with football’s governing body (about 39 years), especially when considering Brazil had the most time (7 years). Half the stadiums weren’t ready by FIFA’s deadline last week, a handful of workers have been killed building the damn things, and even the opening stadium won’t be ready until April because a crane fell on it.
