It was a smoochfest Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman as Ray Romano said his goodbyes to the man who changed his life, by developing Everyone Loves Raymond. There were tears. There were corny phrases. And Ray Romano calls Dave’s last day as the day comedy dies. It may be getting to that point in the speeches where Dave starts to wish he had just snuck off in the middle of the night.
