Rare Jellyfish With 25-Foot Long Tentacles Appears in California
Several swimmers at a Southern California beach were stung by the rare Black Jellyfish, a marine animal who’s tentacles can grow up to 30 feet long. The jellyfish has not been seen since the 1920s, and scientists believe the resurgence of the species is a result of climate change. Perhaps the possibility of giant stinging jellyfish will make more people interested in environmentalism.
