Queen Latifah Developing Travel Show to Showcase Female Comedians

Variety is reporting that Queen Latifah is developing a road trip-style travel series that will spotlight female comedians. Female bonding, adventure and sisterhood will be themes running through the series- something she calls uncharted territory. “I’m so excited to develop a show that not only elevates and highlights female comedians, but also brings them together for an amazing time that will also be a trip for viewers.”
For now the working title is “Friends and Strange Places” and will follow women comedians who will be paired up in twos in episodes that will document their worldwide travels.
Latifah will executive produce with her own Flavor Unit Entertainment company. They are teaming up with Electus,
