POP TV Is Going To Take More Schitt’s Creek

The new sitcom with the catchy title starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara and Chris Elliott is getting renewed for a second season. Pop has ordered 13 new episodes of the network’s first scripted series, “Schitt’s Creek”. According to Deadline, the sitcom was also picked up for another year by its Canadian carrier, the CBC.

The show features Levy and O’Hara as formerly wealthy couple Johnny and Moira Rose who find themselves broke and now, with their grown children along side them, must start rebuilding their lives is a small backwards town of Schitt’s Creek that John once bought as a joke because its name. The series was created by Eugene Levy and his son Daniel Levy who also co-stars as the Rose’s son David. It also stars Annie Murphy as their daughter and the hilarious Chris Elliott as the town mayor and nemesis Roland Schitt.

You can catch the show Wednesdays at 10pm et and the season one finale of “Schitt’s Creek” will air Wednesday, May 6th on Pop TV.
