Pete Davidson Instagram Gone After Near-Suicidal Post

There’s no longer a Pete Davidson account on Instagram and TMZ is reporting that Davidson posted a disturbing and suicidal message earlier today. According to TMZ the post read “i really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. i’m doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don’t know how much longer i can last.” The post continued, “all i’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so.”

Even earlier today, Davidson had posted remarks to Kanye West, congratulating him for speaking out about mental health.  “Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health. I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this,” Davidson posted. “We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”  The post seemed to reference a social media argument between Ariana and Kanye

It was only two weeks ago that Davidson wrote a message referencing suicide and saying that he was on the receiving end of bullying comments telling him to kill himself. He defiantly responded that he would never commit suicide no matter how hard online trolls tried to bait him.

Davidson was scheduled to work tonight — SNL is live tonight with Matt Damon hosting. Given the disturbed social media message it seems unlikely Davidson will be on tonight’s show, but Jon Cryer posted that he received word that Pete is indeed at 30 Rock.

It’s been a difficult month for Davidson- his engagement with Ariana Grande ended- but he seemed to be doing well and even dating. Davidson has dealt with substance abuse and mental health issues in the past.

Grande’s ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who she dated before Davidson committed suicide in September.
