Pepper Spray Cop Somehow Awarded 38 G’s

The cop who received widespread attention after pepper spraying a row of protesting students is now being awarded $38,056 in workers comp after suffering from depression due to death threats he received after the Nov. 2011 incident. A lawyer representing the protesters said that it “sends a clear message to the next officer nervously facing off with a group of passive, unarmed students: Go on ahead. Brutalize them. Trample their rights. You will be well taken care of.” Next George Zimmerman will want damages for gun related carpal tunnel.
