The French car company Renault does things a little differently by leasing the batteries for their electric cars to their customers for around $100 per month. But in the fine print of their press release, it is revealed that the company can prevent charging of the cars battery if the driver does not pay their bill, essentially killing the car. Nice try Renault, everyone knows that the French just zip around on Vespa’s everywhere.
