Oregon Def. Coordinator Furious At WSU Coach For Not Laying Down

Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti calls Washington State coach Mike Leach, “low class” for passing the ball and still trying to score when Leach’s team was down by 38 points as the game was coming to a close. Aliotti felt that WSU should have stopped trying so hard against his second stringers when the game was out of reach. This may be the first case of a coach being criticized for running “down” the score.
