One Head Rolls In IRS Scandal So Far

IRSEagle300dpiLast Friday the AP reported that the IRS was targeting certain groups for increased scrutiny, based on their political affiliations.  Investigations were started, and the first head has rolled– the acting head of the Internal Revenue Service, Steven Miller was asked to resign.

President Obama suggested that this was just the beginning in finding any IRS employees responsible. Miller’s resignation followed revelations that the IRS has identified two “rogue” employees in the agency’s Cincinnati office as being principally responsible for the “overly aggressive” handling of requests by conservative groups for tax-exempt status, a congressional source told CNN.
