NYC’s 92Y Cancels Roger Waters Appearance Amid Jewish Pressure April 4, 2013
Manhattan’s 92nd Street YMCA (92Y) has cancelled an event with former Pink Floyd singer/bassist Roger Walters following pressure from members of the Jewish community over the rocker’s criticism of Israel over the years. “It’s absolutely outrageous that Jewish community funds are going to help Roger Waters spread his anti-Semitic message,” Richard Allen, founder of Jewish activism organization JCC Watch, said.
Since Waters has been cancelled, complete peace has been restored to the middle east.
